The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME is a popular route to gaining admissions into Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education in Nigeria. It is the examination that fresh secondary school leavers have to take to get admitted into the university. Secondary school leavers and anyone else without a first degree or some sort of Diploma certificate have to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME.
